Alternative Learning describes courses which are delivered through non-traditional, technology-driven methods at Metro. These delivery methods include online credit courses, online/mixed mode courses, telecourses, interactive television as well as the use of technology rooms. IDS provides support for these types of classes by ensuring the delivery systems are in place and function to provide quality service to students.

An Alternative Learning Solutions website was created to provide information to students about the courses which are delivered through non-traditional methods.

Through Alternative Learning Solutions, MCC seeks to provide:
