Census Data- This web site
provides census data by race by state - For
example Kansas Hispanic population was 114,000 in
1995, 138,000 estimated for 2000, and 166,000
estimated for 2005. The best data for immigration
is the INS but their data is only published
through 1996 and the more recent data is reported
to the Census people which is currently being
updated (over the next 2 years) for 2000. If you
have time you might want to call the local INS
office and see if they can provide local current
data.
